Job Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in maintaining their independence by providing support, personal services, and education to families.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, including physical and mental health, intake/output, and exercise routines.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry, shopping, meal preparation, and running errands.
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Educate patients and families on using assistive devices, personal hygiene techniques, and special equipment.
- Teach family members proper methods for lifting, turning, and repositioning patients.
- Offer advice on nutrition, cleanliness, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
- Enhance the agency’s reputation by going above and beyond in patient care.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Varies by case
- Shift Options: Day shift, Monday through Friday, with weekend and overnight availability.
- Work Setting: In-person.
Pediatric Male Client - 18 hrs on school days - 3p to 9a and and 24 hours a day on weekends (Multiple Care givers)
Pediatric Female Client - 24 hours a day/7 days per week (Multiple Care givers)
Pediatric Male Client - 12 hours a day/7 days per week
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a home health setting (required).
- License/Certification: Driver’s License (required); Certified Home Health Aide (preferred).
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour.
